Sanxiantai (three immortals island) is a famous island and reef in Taitung, Taiwan. Folk legend said that it is the place where three immortals practiced. Sanxiantai is a renowned tourist attraction in Taitung County through the romantic and beautiful [eight-arch cross-sea walking bridge] connecting to Taiwan's main island.
In Chinese mythology, Galaxy Bridge was built by magpies. It is also the place where the Cowherd and Weaver Girl meet once a year on Chinese Valentine's Day.
