Residents angry by demolition, animals lose place

The houses in the white district in the small town of Sas van Gent, Netherlands will be demolished. The residents don't understand. There is housing shortage and moreover the houses are made of 'indestructible' white concrete, so why destroy them? The demolition also means that the residents will lose the place for their animals. The Eschenröder family has a place for their German Shepherd kennel and Lex Zwikker (with his wife), has his pigeon loft with eighty pigeons. Now they'll lose their place. The images were published by Dutch newspaper PZC.
