During the flowering of the primroses, in a swampy area of ​​Lugones, Asturias, the Lepthotrix Discophora bacteria proliferate, this bacterium oxidizes metals such as iron, chromium and manganese, generating an iridescent colored biofilm layer. I have been creating an artistic series on this theme for several years and I noticed that when I moved in the water the layer broke into smaller particles and they floated at full speed.
I came up with the idea of ​​looking for a contrast between the movement of the particles and the stillness of the flowers.
