Alanya is a district in Turkey in Antalya province specializing in banana cultivation. Alanya provides about half of Turkey's needs with bananas. Here, bananas are grown everywhere and harvested twice a year. Bananas grow both in an open way on plantations and in greenhouses.

Alexander Vedernikov is a member of the union of Russia photoartists, author of many personal and collective exhibitions of photographs, participant and winner of Russian and international photography contests. Currently a freelance photographer of Kommersant Publishing House.
