Neon Glow, peak District

A hazy day in the Peak District finally gave up its secrets as the landscape came into view after sunset. ND Grad Filters were needed to balance the exposure in the sky, allowing the detail in that lovely foreground to shine through. The rocks lead to the centre of the image where the eye is drawn back into the valley before leaving the composition by way of that wonderful sky.

Chris started building a powerful portfolio of landscape photography back in 2005. Based at his gallery in York, U.K. he runs landscape photography workshops and courses in the U.K and in Europe and is a regular speaker at photographic societies and events across Great Britain. He is an Ambassador for the Canson Infinity range of fine art photographic papers.
