The Indomitable Spirit of Cambodian Resistance

My latest photo book "The Indomitable Spirit of Cambodian Resistance" is the compilation of my work in Cambodia from 2013 to 2018, covering the social movements to struggle against the Hun Sen's autocratic government. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has been in power since 1985. His rule has relied on security force violence and politically motivated persecution of opposition members, human rights defenders, and journalists. The persecution has intensified more and more in recent years. The book depicts the courage of "Cambodian Resistance" who fight the dictatorship for democracy.

Satoshi Takahashi is a Japanese photojournalist. He was born in 1981 in Akita, Japan. Satoshi began his career as a freelance photojournalist in Cambodia since 2007.
