I took this picture of my life partner who is a semi-professional model in a hotel room in Paris which was equipped with a very nice lamp that created a sun shape on the bed.

I started my photographic career in the early 1990s as an autodidact in travel photography. In 2007, I started with nude photography. In 2011, I took the first step towards part-time self-employment. Since 2025, I am full-time freelance visual media artist and curator.

In my freelance photographic work, I concentrate on the areas of model and travel photography. I am also the artistic director of the photo festivals ‘Fotopark Forchheim’ and ‘Pirmasenser Fototage’ as well as a photo trainer. My free works can be seen in exhibitions at home and abroad.
