Many people take great comfort in the set of teachings laid down by the religion they follow. However, religions have historically divided humanity rather than bring it together. Religious dogma, often based on half-truths, tends to bind its followers to a set of core assumptions, and thus in most cases, prevent free-thinking.

I use religious objects as styling for nude photographs, altering their original purpose in the way of questioning the attitudes, fears and unwritten rules which have formed religious dogma and our behaviour within it.
