When I went into the mountains of an abandoned village in search of a rare firefly, my friends found a faint light at my feet. It was a glowing mushroom that I had hardly seen in this area. This mushroom is called "Mycena chlorophos" and seems to be found in limited areas during the rainy May-June.It seems that this mushroom does not glow by itself, but receives a slight moonlight. The mushroom was gone in the rain within a few days, but I'm looking forward to finding it again.
Born in Japan, age 45.
I started taking photographs as a hobby 10 years ago.
I am happy to have people see my photos on SNS, so I mainly take photos of landscapes in Japan. This has led to a gradual increase in photography jobs.
I have been actively challenging overseas photo contests for several years now.
I would like to continue to freely take what I want to photograph.
My major contest awards are listed below.
