Many stereotypes exist in people's minds about the living what's it like living in extreme poverty for a gypsy family. Such as quarreling, loud, drinking or substance abuse, sorrowful, depressed. I would like to refute this with my photos and show the opposite. I made my series about a gypsy family living in a small village near Budapest in a tiny, ruined cottage without water, gas and electricity. In such an environment, 2 children are raised by parents who work, do not drink and are not sad. Because life goes by them if they don't survive, life goes on. This is what they believe.
