A different earth

As young photostudents we liked to play around in photography with all different kinds of techniques. The one we liked the most was IR. Over the years I forgot about that technique, but dreamed of working again with infrared, as I travelled to scotland for the first time. Those special colors in the landscape intentionally forced me to do so. I was very happy when I saw first results of picture-editing with some new filters, imitating the usage of IR-Filters.
The next step was a travel to scotland and the realization of a series of pictures, perfectly designed for the use of Infrared-Filter.

I started working as a photographer in the late 80ies. After learning a lot of skills in a photostudio in Graz, I started as a self-empoyed photographer in 1995. Since then I´m mostly working as an architectural-, hotel- and imagephotographer. From the beginning of my career I had a strong relation to fineart- and landscapephotography. After winning a few international awards, I created my own brand "Fotoreiserei" for phototravels and workshops, where I teach interested photographers seeing and creating new visions.
