Everything is known about Pattaya's nightlife. Not everyone knows what the girls who work in bars and go-go bars do after they have finished working. Around two o'clock in the morning in Pattaya open the Tomboys bars. Hidden from the tourists eyes, a hidden city comes to life. In the Tomboys bars, the girls go to choose a Tomboy and spend the night drinking and talking. Dance and kiss. To have sex, why not. A Tomboy is in fact a girl, lesbian, with the appearance of a boy. Toms are in fact a class of their own in the LGBT world.

I'm a photographer and journalist now based in Asia. From my home base I can follows the -asian- region's main social and environmental issues day by day. Nowadays, my work is focused on the poorest people life, working conditions and daily struggles.
​Usually I shot with my small 35mm lens. I chose this lens because it forces me to get in touch with the people I photograph. Always thinking of the words of Robert Capa: "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough".
