Night castles
Muslim kingdoms of Taifas ruled in what is now Spain for seven centuries. When Christian kingdoms fought back, borders continually changed. Battles and raids forced the building of castles and fortresses in the borderlands. Today most of them are abandoned places in ruins under the same stars that lit up the darkest nights, as they do today.
This is a series about night photography in ruined Arab castles from sXI.
