Monograph " If you can dream it, you can do it"
For a long time my life felt like one long string of layovers. I had an infinite curiosity about the world, and was constantly on the move to explore it.
For over ten years and across four continents I have been enacting the motto „ If you can dream it, you can do it“.
I use images as metaphors for my dreams and memories to describe ostensibly intermediate states as constants.
A sort of vacuum emerges, you literally become lost in your thoughts and observations and end up beeing in a bizarre result. With these images I create a world apart—one that allows for the constant search of the unsee
Anna Katharina Zeitler has taken part in exhibitions at relevant institutions for contemporary photography all over the world including the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Museum of Sydney, the Pingyao China International Photography Festival and the Wiesbadener Fototage.
Her first monograph „ If you can dream it, you can do it“ was published by Kehrer Verlag in 2019. The booklaunch coincided with a Solo Museum Exhibition at the Munich City Museum.
Since 2017 she has been teaching workshops with children and adolescents at the Berlin State Museums.
