Photographing and manipulating images is thinking about the depth of human relationships.Through the self-portrait I organize my thoughts, my feelings and as a flow I end up having insights that clarify my way of being, and clarify them to give awareness to self-knowledge.
During the production of a self-portrait, I go through a moment of self-analysis and, thus, I find myself in a constant process of construction. It is possible to go in search of one's own identity by producing self-portraits for they reveal something much deeper than my own image.
Graduated from IADÊ and FAAP, Cecilia is a jewelry designer, graphic designer and photographer, postgraduate in the Course of Processes, Management and Contemporary Culture at the Madalena / Unimes.
A look that seeks how photography can "extend beyond its own physical and subjective limits, and often tells the whole story about the effects of human interaction," words of this photographer from São Paulo who has been producing images since the 70s, intervening with watercolor, nanking and other methods directly over the enlarged photo paper, or more recently on digital collages.
