For me, the Boyhood series is a narrative visual confession, maps personally experienced and mediated experiences. Boyhood is a time when we begin to discover ourselves through inner dialogues and explore our identity. We connect with everything around us, re-isolate ourselves and close in on ourselves. We create places where we feel safe from all the hustle and bustle. Even so, a form of alienation can be a poetically visual beauty. They are physically present, by thoughts we are detached from this place. I offer the viewer a look at the emotionally unfinished story.
I am a self-taught professional photographer. My images exists in that narrow space of a few seconds between dreaming and awakening. During the last 14 years I have gathered over 90 international awards from different competitions including Professional Photographer of the Year, Sony World Photography Awards or International Photo Award. The exhibitions were possible to see from America, through Europe up to Asia.
