Southern Utah

  • Photographer
    Carol Lyon, United States

Rugged, stark and difficult to survive in, Southern Utah in the United States creates scenes of resiliency and beauty unlike anywhere else.

Carol Lyon, a self taught photographer, has been a fashion model, live theatre owner, teacher, and zookeeper. Carol began her photographic career ten years ago when she evolved from a senior zookeeper to the zoo’s staff photographer. Her naturalistic animal and pet photography has spilled over into fine art photography.
Carol has always had a knack for pulling the simple from the complex, and nothing on earth gives her more pleasure than the privilege of being let in to a creature’s inner circle. It is this clarity and delight that she distills into her photography.
