Yes, this is actually Denmark and not the Provence area of France. Quite remarkable that you can find small gems like this. The purple flowers are not Lavender flowers but in fact Chives. The owner of the field told me that they sell the seeds from the chives plants - I guess that the seeds are sold on the consumer market after. I was immediately drawn to this beautiful composition using the nearby field together with the chives field. Because of the small uneven areas along with the fields, it created this amazing rolling wave feel and the side light from the sun enhanced the whole scene!
I'm a 30 year old landscape-, travel- and wildlife photographer from Copenhagen, Denmark. My great passion in photography is within the genres landscape and wildlife photography. To achieve my goals and to challenge myself I often spent my holidays travelling to different parts of the world with my camera. I've spent a great amount of time in Africa to get close to the African wildlife, and when it comes to landscape photography I really enjoy the vast and beautiful landscapes in the Arctic Circle, especially the Lofoten archipelago in Norway.
