This photo is part of my on-going series documenting my quarantine experience. I live in Queens, New York, in the middle of one of the most dramatic epicenters of the Covid-19 outbreak. Beginning in March, when the pandemic hit, I found myself trapped in a 700-square-foot, one bathroom apartment with my 86 year old mother and my ex-wife from Los Angeles. There is no privacy here, and these conceptual photo reenactments of real life situations became a commentary on caregiving, marriage, boundaries, love, and family responsibility.
