GIANT WHEEL

Life is like a ride on a giant wheel. The key is to enjoy the ride all the time. Enjoy when you’re up and enjoy when you’re down. Enjoy when it goes round and round. It’s all part of the same ride.

I am creating polaroid art since the year 2000. 2015 I finally made the artistic choice to show not just the image but the entire polaroid without the matt frame. I want to show how the polaroid really looks underneath the frame in its most authentic true way. This artistic choice is in alignment with my message as an artist to expose the lie (matrix), show the truth and wake people up.

Fabian Kochendoerfer is a pioneering instant film artist since 2000, merging photography with philosophical and meditative insight.

Using rare expired instant film, he transforms fleeting moments like butterflies into reflections of reality, moments of infinity, and truth.

His art embodies his discoveries: “The world is just an illusion. Life is a dream. Wake up and know yourself!”

Recognized internationally, with exhibitions alongside Art Basel, Art Basel Miami, and Venice Biennale, he holds a Diploma from Merz Academy, Germany, and a Master of Arts from University of Portsmouth, England.
