During the last 3 years I have been artistically documenting the urban landscape outskirts of Lima at night. These images that belong to a book project called Nocturnes of Lima (2015-2017)
Santiago Bustamante was born in Madison, Wisconsin (U.S.A) in 1974. Son of Peruvian parents, he has a double citizenship. He is a photographer who lived most of his life in Lima and who moved to New York City in the year 2000. He was living in Astoria (Queens), when the 9/11 attacks happened. He was pursuing a Master`s Degree in Photography and Related Media at the School of Visual Arts of NYC. Shortly after the attacks he worked as a photographer and volunteer in the Here is New York project.
He is currently a Photography Professor at The University of Lima, Peru.
