Sand Mountain

  • Photographer
    Zhou Ren, China

This series was shot in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
The shore looks like mountains made from sand picked up from
the river, which formed a unique kind of landscape. The river was
destroyed, but the sand is an important means of survival for local
people.

I began photographing from the late 80s. Over the years, I have developed interests in various photography styles and in recent years, I have been focused on Chinese street photography.
