Most people in Madagascar live in large families - 9 to 10 children
are not rarely seen. The great poverty and the low familie's budget
for school education leads to a different way of living. Playing
children in the streets are replaced by even the youngest working
in the fields. The expression in the children's faces seem to be
those of grown up people. It was the photographer's intention to
capture that look on the faces of the children of Madagascar.
