“CYCLOPS”

I sometimes go to market to get some inspiration from old
ornament spread around on the ground in which is usually
dumped by owner.
As the old painting “Hyakkiyagyo” -hundred dumped
commodities turned into monster and hang around after midnight
to take a revenge former owners- by Tosa Mitunobu suggests us
quite important message, we used to take care of all our
belongings. And many people reuse that story in a modern context
such as paintings or novels. So do I, I used to pick up goods I
found on the street or market for my still life photo image.
And I am also inspired by 16th century’s painter Hieronymus
Bosch, and I found that both Bosch’s and Hyakkiyagyo’s image
have unique aspect, though it’s got strong images.
Although “CYCLOPSE” images certainly has dark aspect, yet I
would like to introduce them as a pop art.
