Every glance at the city during “twilight” expresses a different
variety
of angles and dimensions. “Twilight”, the moment elapsing while
gloaming
sunlight begin shifting to artificial lights leaking through windows
and
roofs projected from the streets.
For this special moment, I hover 5,000 feet above the target and
wait
silently for this one and only timing. As I focus on the architecture
directly underneath, I realize myself being sucked into a
phenomenal moment.
I reach out of the furiously trembling helicopter, and my battle
begins.
My works are created during the rapid transition of tinge in light to
create
a stereoscopic effect without losing the fine texture on a ground
plan. Each
piece is produced by exposing the genuine light to a negative film
and
printing on a photographic paper.
Each city has its own infrastructure created by the interaction
of residents inhabiting the area. By shooting "People" from an
overhead,
the urban city seems almost as if it alive one huge palpitating
organism.
