Fragment's of an Altered Landscape

Fragments of an altered landscape shows individuals, summed up
as our purest undisguised selfs, in harmony with a landscape that
has been modified or created by human intervention. The series
has been taken in Eastern German sceneries that only exist
because they have been created artificially. Flooded lakes and
gravel pits in order to cover up remnants of opencast mining, a
cherry blossom tree in the centre of urban Berlin, agricultural
fields that have been cultivated to ensure our conservation, all
shown landscapes have been part of human interference. The
photographs show Us as the Creators visualized in our most
natural selfs in a powerful and artificial juxtaposition with our
Make.

I have been a freelense photographer for over 25 years.
Photography has given me a good life, valuable encounters with people and places that I would never have known without this profession.
