Letters of a passenger

While exploring Tbilisi I was staying with strangers whose paths I
crossed upon my wanderings. I was quickly taken into their space,
their stories, their warmth. Georgians are famously hospitable but
I was more interested in what happens later at night, when I
stopped being the centre of attention. I was looking for individual
stories, for a kind of intimacy and for spaces that describe
somebody’s life, both real and imagined. Being inspired by the
mystery of the night, I tried to create a more subjective approach.
We witness fleeting figures, as we are allowed to gaze slowly
around the room, and use our imagination to complete their
stories.
