Europe, Where To Now?

Europe is crumbling. The continent of a homogenous society to
some is being invaded, to others opening up, overall it is forever
changing. The falling Eiffel Tower in this image serves as a
metaphor for the loosing balance of what seemed ever-stable.
Double-exposed with a photograph of Berlin’s 1960’s Checkpoint
Charlie, the famous border-passage between East and West, this
image remarks on current affairs – its danger s and possibilities.

Anthropologist, writer, amateur photographer.

The author and photographer of Transcendent Wisdom of the Maya learned photography with Hartmut Schmidt in Germany and later worked as a TA and printed at the International Center of Photography in New York.
The former U.S. correspondent to art magazine Atelier is featured in Geo Ksandr's Anthology of Czech Photographers SUDEK + 111.
