Silk

I took this photograph in my garden using a Nikon D40, a speed
light, and a reflector disk to create the lighting I wanted. I titled
this piece "Silk" because of the apparent soft, luxurious texture of
the rose's petals. I wanted the viewer to see and feel the true
elegant, regal form of the rose.
