Childhood Cancer Superheroes

This series features kids with childhood cancer (and some of their
supportive siblings) dressed up as superheroes and dropped into
environments around Chicago. Cancer is tough, but kids are
strong, and I wanted to reflect that sentiment in this work. I also
wanted to create images that would excite these kids, who are dealing with such incredibly difficult circumstances, by portraying them as we already see them: superheroes.
