The Horizon

I believe that a certain beauty is possible in all settings, whether natural--untouched by man, or urban--the essence of man's imprint on the world. Through my collection of photographs, I attempted to capture the raw magnificence and organic qualities of nature when the horizon line separates the sky and ocean, or where waves brush sandy beach like a painter's gentle brushstrokes on canvas. My photos focus primarily on the vastness of the sky and on the ocean's tranquil moments. I invite each viewer to leave the urban chaos of their lives behind and find the tranquility of the ocean by putting themselves in my photographs.
