Honey bee on an orange daisy.

I am currently a Junior in high school and hope to pursue a degree in photography and wildlife conservation in college. Photography has been a big part of my life for almost 3 years. In the Fall of 2014 I got the brilliant idea of taking the screen off my bedroom window to capture better photos. Almost everyday that year, I photographed the sunset from my room. I entered about 20 nature photos to the 2015 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and received 11 gold keys, 1 silver key and 2 honorable mentions. I cried while taking sunset pictures that night. I never had any interest whatsoever in selling my photos, regardless of how often my family encouraged me to. That is until I became so in love with tigers and so desperate to take a picture of one. I fear that the tiger population will become extinct before I have a chance to capture one in a photo. In Mid-April of 2015 I came up with an idea for my website, www.picturesfornature.com and shared the idea with my dad. In June we bought the domain name. After 6 months of coding, uploading, captioning, titling, editing in every way possible, we finally pressed the magic "publish" button in December 2015. With every purchase made on this website, as much money as possible will be donated to Panthera.org, one of the best tiger funds in the world. Please note: My website www.picutresfornature.com is currently under reconstruction. Stay tuned...
