Flow in Fate

  • Photographer
    Anna den Drijver, Netherlands

Anna's work centers around the question of how we relate to the
world around us. In her last series the focus is on the contrast
between the manufactured reality of the world on one side and the
unpredictability on the other side. Balance that can be acquired,
but suddenly taken away again, a new flow to be recovered.

Anna den Drijver , born in The Hague (Netherlands) in 1975 , studied at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam.

Her work is about growing up and the quest for identity . The underlying struggles that will accompany them, she attempts to expose. The contrast between the hidden inner world and visible outer world plays an important role, as does the subconscious .

The subconscious Anna attempts to portray in her work. Therefore, her images are sometimes dreamy, others are alienating and others associative. Anna works in an investigative way in order to create her images in an organic way. She uses both analog and digital techniques .
