Mumu Ko, born in 1988, without a title, or membership in any photography group.
She has lived in many countries, but she is always an outsider.
Born in China, Mumu studied film and sociology in Japan, then started to travel the world when she was 18.
As she was achieving great success in Japan, she decided to give up everything and come to Argentina for another adventure.
It’ s hard to find a regional culture that defines her, or maybe she is a mix of all different cultures.
Speaking of her own word, “experience” is the most important thing in her life.
And among all the people I know, she is the only one who is truly applies it into her way of living.
You might find it’ s hard to meet a woman like this; even when traveling as a backpacker,
you will find a girl wearing full make-up, or applying a facial mask in the desert.
As a photographer, she is an outcast as well, despite the knowledge of exposure, and focal length, etc.,
she just follows her instinct and understanding.
But I think, being the outcast has given her the biggest advantage: vision.
Everyone dreams about what their perfect life would be, but not everyone can truly give up everything and follow their heart.
The differences of life shape a different vision.
So the photo you’ re going to see is not about magnificent architecture or landscape,
only a world from a different angle – an angle of an adventurer.
