INFANTO is a series of "alternative" portraits of the six-month
babies. When we speak about little kids we instantly imagine
nice pictures of funny cute infants surrounded by teddy bears,
baby's dummies, toys and flowers. But behind this pinky-blue
sweet cloud it is hard to spot a developing person. Sometimes
you notice a sparkle of a “special knowledge” in the eyes of a
baby. As if it is a wise creature in front of you. Usually we don’t
see it on photographs. My ambition is to bring to light special
aspects of infant’s character, to capture the moment of “baby’s
thoughtfulness” or “infant's adulthood”. The black background
and dark colors where chosen on purpose to separate the
person from familiar but unnecessary colorful world of
children’s vanity.
