As a children’s photographer I try to capture life and beauty. I try to
capture the pureness and innocence of children and try to create
intimate, intense and timeless portraits. I love playing with light,
darkness and shadows and I prefer using warm colors like the old
Dutch and Flemish painters. This series is about brotherhood,
family and the invisible thread that connects familymembers. For
me they tell about life, love, support, trust, comfort, loyalty and
searching for your own identity. But also about loneliness, loss,
pain, insecurity, doubt and despair.
