Study of the beauty of reflections from underwater.

I grew up between a dark room and a stage in Paris, France. I was lucky enough to hang out in theaters during rehearsals and assist my father in the darkroom and hear him explain his process.
My love is underwater photography and I find an everlasting pool of ideas when I shoot in that environment. The process of shooting without oxygen allows me to tune out the world and focus on the moment. It is almost a state of meditation and I cherish my shoots.
The second step is Photoshop where the image gets shaped and a story unfolds. My work has been described as surreal, ethereal and painterly.
