I captured this moment in Bangkok/Thailand, while walking on the
streets and photographing the old buses which had their windows
mostly open as it was a very hot day.

I am Timea Laslavic: my first name reveals my Hungarian roots, while my last name brings forward my Slovak ancestry. And the family origins go even wider. I am proud to say I am a hundred percent from Banat/Romania, a place with a wonderful blend of ethnical groups.

In my childhood years I would always hope to become a school teacher or a doctor. It was not meant to be. In high school I have studied Economics and Accounting, while in college I went for Anthropology. Later on I have completed a MA of Documentary Film. After a career of 12 years in the mass media and other 7 years in translations I took up design. However, I still work on some media projects and I have never abandoned translations. There is something quite new in my professional life, though – it is the hand-made jewelry and accessories. I create spontaneously and I do it with all my heart.
I also like traveling, cooking, photography, theater, music and reading.
