Every day I create an architectural image. At the end of the day I
post it on my @koenvandamme Instagram account. I has become
my architectural diary. I took this photograph in Waregem
(Belgium). Architect unknown.
Koen Van Damme studied art photography and film in Gent. There he earned a Master of Visual Arts with emphasis on Photography. He is architectural photographer and is working for various architects both at home and abroad. His photographs are published in international magazines and books, and have been exhibited in Belgium, Germany, Finland and Japan. In 2005 he became third laureate of the European Prize of Architectural Photography and second laureate of the Belgian Senate photography contest. In 2007 he was nominated for the International Color Awards. This year he got 3 nominations for the Black & White Spider Awards and a Honorable Mention with the image "07Cannes".
