The serie is result of my visit to Chernobyl, Ukraine; meeting the samosely (settlers) and
their homes within the Exclusion Zone. Having the opportunity and the experience to
document them allowed me to get more familiar and connected with their lives and
struggles. Most of them live in
contaminated areas in abandoned towns and villages around the region.
