    Emy Kat, was born in 1959 in the city of Jeddah and grew up in Lebanon. He received his higher education in the UK. The artist began his career as an Industrial Consultant for big firms in Saudi Arabia. In 1993, he dramatically changed career paths to photography. He is a contemporary photographer whose large body of work has been gathered over decades. Developing a love for the medium at an early age, the artist was introduced to photography when his father gave him his first camera at the age of 12. In 1993, he went on to refine his craft in the USA where he received a graduate degree from the Brooks Institute of Photography with exceptional academic achievements and honors along with awards in creative excellence. The artist's visual language follows his own distinctive standards with their brilliance and emblematical dimensions. The artist’s work is included in a number of private collections and his iconographic studies on the subject “Femme” is archived and collected by the BNF Bibliothèque Nationale De France [2000]. The artist has participated in a number of international shows including Jeddah Arts 21,39 inaugural exhibition Moallaqat [2014], Art Dubai [2014] and Paris Photo [2014]. The artist has lived and worked in Los Angeles, New York, London, and is currently based between Paris and Dubai, where his studio is located. , United Arab Emirates

The redemption of Eve

Born in 1959. US citizen from a Middle Eastern descent. Started photography when
his father gave him his first camera at age 12. Emy Kat's father was a serious
amateur and was the first person to influence and encourage him. Emy Kat Began
his career in Fashion Photography, Portraits and on Fine art.
Graduated in 1997 from the Brooks Institute of photography Santa Barbara,
California, (USA) where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Illustration and digital
imaging with outstanding Academic achievements & Honors along with awards in
Creative Excellence.
Worked and lived in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris and Dubai.
