Los Angeles Curves and Textures

Los Angeles architecture offers such a diversity of styles. Looking
at the Disney Concert Hall you are struck how different it
looks under different lighting conditions. The way the light flows
over the titanium curves changes every day, every lighting
condition and from every angle. The shapes present beautiful
forms and light and shadow. Downtown has so many styles from
the 40s to the modern. Century City offers the new with the 60s.
The combination of shapes is unmistakable. The morning sun
offers so many opportunities. I have selected this series to show
the beauty of shape and contrast, how texture plays on the black
and white of the buildings and how light makes the images.
