With the long term project 'Five and a half hours' my purpose is to narrate the undefined
transitory status of people who have voluntarily abandoned their homeland because of
unbearable work conditions, and live outside theit country with the awareness that their
stay is not
permanent.
There is a time difference of five and a half hours between their native country and their
temporary home abroad.
They know that one day they will return home, but in the meantime they live torn between
the present, the memories of the past and the uncertain prospects of a distant future.
