The Three Musketeers

This image was taken at Puri Beach, Orissa (India).

I had planned to capture the sunset, and I was looking for a vantage
point. But suddenly I saw these three young boys around a boat. So I
decided to take their pictures instead. And the boys seemed equally
happy to see me taking their pictures.

I quickly took my camera off my tripod, changed my settings, and tried
to compose a shot with the boat along with the sunset. I knew I had
little time before the light and the mood of the kids change.

I was lucky to capture this moment. The innocent cheerfulness, and
shyness, coupled with their enthusiasm is what makes this picture
special to me.
