All these photos were taken in Normandy, in the town of Étretat. This particular part of
the coast was made famous by artists such as Corot, Boden, Delacroix, Monet and Manet.
Whilst working on this particular project I studiously avoided places that were too
familiar and picturesque. This photo series is an attempt to visually explore the traces
left by the water on the rocks. These traces are an indication of significant changes in
the temporal boundaries of nature.
