The act of surreptitiously riding freight trains, know as "freight
hopping" has been a source of transportation and adventure for
many years but due to harsh penalties and increased security
measures the practice has become much less common today.
A small and secretive community of freight train riders still exists.
I followed two freight hoppers for 3 days as they traveled across
the desolate Nullarbor Plain stretching over 2500km from Perth to
Adelaide in Australia.
