Namibia under the Stars

These alien looking plants are called the Quiver trees, a species of aloe
which grow in southern Namibia. Namibia is famous for its sand dunes,
but few people know it also has the International Dark Sky Reserves. I
planned the visit just after new moon so the sky is extraordinary dark and
calculated the time for the Milky Way to be at this diagonal position.
