This image was taken during the period of the high tide in 2015 in Normandy, in the region
of "La Hague". After forty minutes of walking in the rocks, I fell on this impressive
coming out of the water building, dominating the rest of the seascape just like the power
of the water and the nature.
Young passionate photographer born in Cannes in 1988, Nicolas Cesne is pricked by this virus at the beginning of July of year 2011, while he lives since 10 years in Normandy, France.
Rather attracted by the townscapes to his debuts, he quickly shoots to the cliffs of the Norman coast.
While surfing on the social networks, he fall under the spell of a technique called " long exposure", making the final atmosphere totally dreamlike for him.
It is in black and white that he processes his images, the whole reframed in a square format which strengthens its minimalist compositions. He decides then, and until now, to dedicate it the major part of his work and to bring to it own felt sound.
