Beggar Group of Salzburg

In a rich town like Salzburg, beggars are considered as a problem one can solve by
forbidding them to beg. To counter this point of view, potraits of a group of beggars were
taken in a studio environment. By showing their actual faces, one should regard them as
human beings again.

The master-class photographer Joachim Bergauer was born on 12.07.1965 in Schwarzach (Salzburg). The entrance to the advertising industry was the result of the photography in his adolescence.
