The aim of this body of work is not to make a perfect replica of the
world which we are viewing but rather to build a different way to view
the world: by changing the perspective and the way of seeing, I give
personality to a streetlight with no name.

In Japan, there are some streetlights which did not turn on for power
saving even at night for these several years.

The shape of streetlights looked like a husk that of electrical energy.

They visualized the final form of electrical energy.

I face to them as a portrait photographer, and observing them. I
wanted to create an image with a different perspective to how they
are normally viewed.

I’m bringing out the personality of each and I’m recreating like a
human portrait.
